Future Direction for Research on Lupus

We are at the beginning of a new paradigm in lupus research. We are beginning to understand the underlying causes of lupus, how it progresses, and ways to better manage the disease. Dr. David Pisetsky of the Duke University Medical Center, discusses where lupus research may be headed in the coming years and why continued support of such efforts are critical to ultimately finding the exact causes and a cure for lupus.
