Investigator Grants, Fellowships and Career Development Awards & Prizes

We support pioneering lupus researchers at all stages of their careers and recognize their achievements to help develop a new generation of lupus thought leaders. Peer-reviewed research grants are available for tenure-track investigators. Fellowships are available for students and medical school graduates. Special awards are available for young investigators at the beginning of their careers and for experienced researchers who are making significant contributions to lupus research. 

Peer-Reviewed Grant Program

Lupus Foundation of America's prestigious peer-reviewed grant program provides grant funding to lupus investigators.

LIFELINE Grant Program™

This Program provides temporary salary support for faculty who experience a gap in external funding for a specific, previously funded lupus research project due to the decreased funding available from government sources.

Lupus Insight Prize

The Lupus Insight Prize is a collaborative funding effort among three lupus organizations.
