Grants, Fellowships and Awards

Research grants, fellowships, and special awards are available for investigators to pursue lupus research at many levels. Research grants are available for tenure-track investigators. Fellowships are available for students and medical school graduates. Special awards are available for Young Investigator Prize and Lifetime Achievement Award candidates.

The following grants and awards exist to foster interest in a career in lupus rsearch and to support efforts of tomorrow's lupus scientific thought leaders.

The Foundation funds research that will expand our understanding of lupus and help develop more effective treatments.

LIFELINE Grant Program™

This Program provides temporary salary support for faculty who experience a gap in external funding for a specific, previously funded lupus research project due to the decreased funding available from government sources.

Peer Reviewed Grant Program

Lupus Foundation of America's prestigious peer-reviewed grant program provides grant funding to lupus investigators.
