Validation of Revised Classification Criteria for Lupus

More than half of the people with lupus visit three or more doctors over four or more years to receive an accurate diagnosis. During the 2011 American College of Rheumatology Annual Scientific Meeting, Dr. Michelle Petri of the Johns Hopkins University Medical Center presented the results of a study that evaluated revised criteria for diagnosing lupus.
