What Your Donation Can Provide for People with Lupus

Your donation will have an immediate impact as we put it to work supporting vital research, creating awareness, providing education programs for people with lupus, their families and health professionals, and advocating on their behalf.  Here are just some of the ways we use contributions to improve the quality of life for people affected by lupus.

$25 provides Lupus Now® magazine to a physician’s office for one year so individuals seeking medical care can learn about lupus and the resources available to them from the LFA.

$50 provides 100 informational brochures for a local health fair so community residents can learn about lupus, its symptoms and health effects.

$100 supplies telephone helpline reference books for a local community hotline service to provide answers and resources to help individuals learn about lupus and cope with the disease.

$250 provides training for an individual to serve as a leader of a community-based lupus support group for people who are newly diagnosed with lupus and their family members.

$500 provides information packets to 100 individuals who call the Lupus Foundation of America's Information Helpline seeking to learn about lupus.

$1,000 provides an online webinar for individuals with lupus from around the world to learn from lupus experts about how to cope with the disease.
