Mary Wilson, founding member of the world’s most famous female trio, The Supremes, entertained a crowd of nearly 500 at the Lupus Foundation of America’s Butterfly Gala - Sixth Annual Awards Dinner on Tuesday, May 12, 2009 with her signature flair and style. Mary Wilson, one of the original members of The Supremes, entertained during the Lupus Foundation of America’s Butterfly Gala, Sixth Annual Awards Dinner, May 12 in Washington, DC to raise funds that help the estimated 1.5 million Americans living with the chronic autoimmune disease. The event raised funds to support research, education program and patient services. The LFA is working to find the causes of and cure for lupus which hasn’t had a new drug in more than 50 years.
