Lupus Awareness Night with Fireworks
On Thursday evening, July 21, 2016,at 7:05PM, the Lupus Foundation of America, New Jersey Chapter, Inc. (LFANJ) will be holding our Annual Somerset Patriots Lupus Awareness Night at TD Bank Park, Bridgewater, New Jersey. The game between the Somerset Patriots and the Sugar Land Skeeters will be accompanied by a spectacular display of fireworks making this a truly memorable evening.
The success of this fundraiser enables the Foundation to make a difference in the lives of those affected by lupus. Lupus is a chronic inflammatory disease, which afflicts an estimated 1.5 million Americans. In New Jersey it is estimated that 42,000 people have lupus. Lupus is difficult to diagnose, unpredictable, debilitating and and leads to premature death. With no known cause or cure, this disease threatens millions of people in the United States.
