We offer many resources within the MidSouth area to help people with lupus and their families.
The LFAM offers several support groups throughout its tri-state outreach. The philosophy of LFA support groups is to provide a warm and caring environment where people with lupus, their family members, caregivers, and loved ones can share their experiences, methods of coping, and insights to living with this chronic disease.
Each support group includes an LFA certified and trained leader, a specific meeting date on a monthly basis, a confidential sharing environment, and informational material about lupus. Our support groups are a self-help group where those living with lupus can come together to be themselves and receive educational materials by using community resources.
The LFAM also offers educational seminars and webinars. Regularity of these may vary by location.
If you are interested in joining a group or beginning a group in your area, please contact our office through our toll free number at 877-865-8787 or by sending your request to firstname.lastname@example.org. Support leader training is available.

Has your disease flared after being dormant for so long? Or do you just need to talk to someone?
