Despite Threat of Rain Huntsville Walk Reaches $25k Goal- Fundraising Continues

Thank you to everyone who took part in the 2016 Walk to End Lupus Now in Huntsville. This year’s Walk gathered over 400 participants! Walkers showed up in their purple best— tutus, butterfly wings, purple hair, and even wolf ears! We moved the party inside in case of rain, but the weather ended up being perfect so participants were still able to walk the double helix trail.

The Walk has already passed the original $25,000 goal. Way to go, Huntsville! You guys are awesome, and you still have time left to fundraise! Fundraising for the Walk does not close until Tuesday, June 21. That’s more time to reach the level of prize you want!

Remember, without your passion, commitment, and generous support, the Lupus Foundation of America, Mid-South Chapter could not continue to succeed in our mission to promote lupus awareness and provide support to lupus survivors.
