2014 Night of Hope Gala
November 8th, 7 PM
Mason Murer Fine Art Gallery

The 2014 Night of Hope Gala raised more than $170,000 for the Georgia Chapter of the Lupus Foundation of America, creating awareness and hope for the 55,000 Georgians living with lupus. This inspiring celebration held on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at the Mason Murer Art Gallery included fabulous food, auctions, live entertainment and a mission call.
The evening highlighted our distinguished 2014 honorees: Shea and Stephen Evans receiving the Mary Cann Achievement Award for Outstanding Volunteer Service and Gary E. Myerson, MD receiving the Excellence in Rheumatology Award.
We also remembered Lisa Williams, who passed away days before the Gala, presenting the Tomica Gill Courage Award to her family. All were touched to honor her memory and all of her amazing contributions to thr fight against lupus as a Chapter board member, support group leader and national advocate.
Ninety percent of every dollar donated to the Night of Hope Gala stays in Georgia to ensure the Chapter continues to provide and expand the only valuable free educational programs, advocacy and awareness efforts. These programs include symposiums, teleconferences and support groups reaching new communities and patients across Georgia.
We also support the national research efforts funding and advocating for investment in lupus. The chapter is a lifeline and a voice of hope increasing lupus awareness.
Thank you to Kent Ruby and Chad Boone fabulous images for the Gala. You can view the photos at Kent Ruby's Photo Reflect website
