There are many diseases that overlap with lupus including autoimmune thyroid disease , celiac disease, myasthenia gravis, antiphospholipid syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis, polymyositis, dermatomyositis, scleroderma and Sjögren’s syndrome. There are also many less common autoimmune diseases that can affect people with lupus.
