Participate in a Clinical Trial

Every advance in the understanding of a disease such as lupus—its causes, its effects on the body, the development of new drugs and treatments—is based on research. By taking part in clinical trials, participants can play a more active role in their own health care. Most importantly, participating in clinical trials helps others by contributing to medical research.

The LFA has established the Center for Clinical Trials Education (CCTE) to provide information for anyone who may be interested in participating in a clinical trial of a potential new treatment for lupus.
